About the Author
Hi! My name is Isaak Kwok and welcome to my blog. I was born in Singapore and have studied and worked here all my life. If you really want to know, I’m an Aquarius (Western horoscope) and a Wood Tiger (Chinese horoscope).
I’m married to Wendy and we have a son, Matthew.
We also had a dog, Jeremiah, who is of the Maltese breed. Unfortunately, Jeremiah died after he a few days after he came out of quarantine in February 2009.
In November 2008, my family and I relocated to Adelaide, Australia. I’m currently a house-husband as I’m looking for work (**So, if you have any need for a librarian or social media person, email me below!!**).
Prior to the move, I was working with the National Library Board, Singapore as an Adult and Young People’s librarian doing many varied things such as library outreaches, hosting programmes, conducting book talks, writing book reviews, and providing reference services.
I also maintain Blogging Librarian, that covers mainly the use of new technologies and social media in libraries. And Blogging Parent, that covers parenting topics.
