Wired recently started a blog about the creation of a feature article on Charlie Kaufman that is scheduled to appear in the November 2008 issue.

It is definitely interesting to find out about the process of how a magazine prepares for an article, from storyboarding, pitching, and the logistics required to complete a feature article.

Maybe I’ll have a chance to write a feature article in some printed magazine in the near future. Or maybe just for this blog. :)

WordPress 2.3 Beta 2

UPDATE: Well, WordPress.org just released 2.3 Beta 3 and I’ve just upgraded to that. Let’s see if there are any issues. Leave a comment if there are any.

Are Desktop RSS Readers Becoming Obsolete?

Read/WriteWeb wrote about the impending death of desktop RSS readers with results from two polls that they conducted on their website.

Personally, I’m still using a desktop RSS reader, NetNewsWire, to read my feeds. However, I also have ‘backup’ online RSS readers such as Newsgator (which I synced with NetNewsWire) and Google Reader.

So, are you an online RSS reader or offline?
