Just finished watching the World Cup Group F match. Quite an exciting match though not fantastic. But I guess the heat took much out of the players from both sides. Australia came back from been behind to a controversial goal in the first half and finished strongly in the last ten minutes of the game with two goals from Tim Cahill and 1 from John Aloisi. A good fightback from Australia. Looking forward to the next match where they will face world champions Brazil.

Just read on Apple.com about the launch of the 13.3 inch MacBook, the newest iteration of the iBook. It will come in both white and black colors, just like the current line of iPods, though you’ll need to pay more for the black version as the color is only available for the higher end MacBook. You can find out more from the link. And with this introduction, it rounds up the whole notebook family. From what I can gather, it seems unlikely that there would be a 12 inch version of the MacBook Pro as Apple has removed both the iBooks and 12 inch PowerBook from their product range.
So, what is Steve Jobs going to announce on Thursday when he opens the new Apple Store in Fifth Avenue, New York City? Could it be iPods? Or Intel-powered PowerMacs?
Update: Apparently, Apple has bumped up the speeds on the higher end MacBook Pros. The 1.83GHz model now sports a 2.0GHz Intel processor and similarly for the 2.0GHz, it gets bumped up to 2.16GHz. All new models sport the same price as before.

Just finished watching the FA Cup Final between Liverpool and West Ham. What a match!! Final result was Liverpool winning on penalty kicks with them coming back from 2-1 down in the first half to end the game 3-3. Not entirely a classic FA Cup match, particularly on the part of Liverpool. But the goals were world class, especially the second equaliser by Steven Gerrard that put the game into extra-time. Another come-from-behind victory for Liverpool after last year’s UEFA Champions League final. Wonderful!!!!

I’ve personally used SubEthaEdit only briefly. What I like was the collaborative part of the software where different people can work on the same code at the same time. Though I’ve not had the opportunity to use that feature as I haven’t got a team to work with, I can see its use in a team environment.
